Mississippi State Men’s Hoops
This Sunday, the Bulldogs take on Southern University at 3 p.m. in Humphrey Coliseum. Maroon and White daily staff will be on-site providing live and postgame coverage.
Southern (1-6) comes in as a heavy underdog despite Mississippi State having lost its last game on the road to Georgia Tech in the SEC/ACC challenge. The Bulldogs need a get-right game after their disappointing offensive performance in Georgia Tech’s barn, and a home matchup against a 1-6 SWAC opponent could be just what the doctor ordered before they hit the road again to take on the Tulane Green Wave.
Sunday’s game will be broadcast on the SEC Network and ESPN+, but remember, Maroon and White Daily subscribers can also find the game at a great price on Fubo.

Mississippi State Women’s Hoops
The 8-1 Bulldogs take to the road this weekend to face off against 7-1 UT Chattanooga. The Mocs are an early player in their conference, and a road win would bode well for Mississippi State’s NET rankings later on in the season.
The MSU women suffered their first loss of the season on Wednesday at the hands of the undefeated Miami Hurricanes in a tight game. However, the Bulldogs were only able to dress seven players for the game as Jessika Carter (injury), Erynn Barnum (injury) and Nir Nir Montague (illness) were all unavailable.
The team seemed hopeful in Montague’s return this weekend, and any and all rebounding help will make the Bulldogs a formidable foe for UT Chatt. That game tips of at 1 p.m. and will be aired on ESPN+.
