NC State vs. Florida State: PFF scorecard
This Saturday, a pair of ACC teams are seeking an important win. NC State (4-1 overall, 0-1 ACC) is hosting Florida State (4-1, 2-1). Kickoff is scheduled for 8:00 p.m., and the game can be seen nationally on ACC Network where available.

According to Pro Football Focus (PFF), through five weeks Florida State has been the more impressive. The overall grades for the season thus far have the Seminoles at No. 9 and NC State at No. 47 in the 131-team Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS). The difference largely lies on the offensive side of the football. Florida State’s offense is graded in No. 4 nationally and the Pack is No. 66.

Defensively, NC State has a slight edge on the PFF grades, scoring 41st best so far compared to Florida State at tied for No. 49 with prior Pack opponent Texas Tech. Despite the severe kicking woes, FSU has a noticeable edge in special teams on PFF grades, tied for No. 3 while NC State is No. 30.
