TheWolfpacker

For 17 years, I have been covering events, breaking news and providing scoops on NC State for thousands of subscribers on The Wolfpacker when it was part of the Rivals.com network.

The easy thing to do would have been to stay the course, but the right thing to do is to make The Wolfpacker product the best it can be. We owe that to you the readers and to ourselves.

Welcome to The Wolfpacker at On3.com

Which is why we are here today, part of the upstart network On3. It is certain to revolutionize and dominate coverage of college sports.

Simply put, it is the future of this industry.

Any website would be lucky to jump at the chance to join. The Wolfpacker is fortunate to be invited to hop in at the ground level. There are sure to be some growing pains along the way, but the final product will prove well worth the cost of admission.

On3 will prove to be one your one-stop destination for coverage of not only NC State, but all of college sports. It is building a recruiting database that once completed will become the undisputed standard bearer.

The database includes the new On3 consensus rankings, which is the only rating system to take in with equal weight every major recruiting service’s rankings to come up with a consensus.

Click here to see the first release of the database page for On3 consensus four-star linebacker Torren Wright from A.L. Brown in Kannapolis, N.C.

I’m not sure words can properly describe our enthusiasm for being a part of this community. I have become a bit of a veteran in this industry. What I see planned for On3 is different, and it’s special. It is led by a devoted team determined to make this the most successful network ever built. In the coming months ahead you are going to see incredible growth in team sites to prove that point.

Moving The Wolfpacker to On3 will greatly enhance our abilities to cover recruiting on top of our already top-of-the-line team coverage. It will also provide us the capacity to provide more premium content.

Simply put, this will help us to become the best site for NC State Wolfpack football, basketball, baseball and recruiting coverage. That’s why we are here.

More Exciting News To Come

To that end, we are beginning to expand our team at The Wolfpacker.

Legendary football recruiting reporter Sammy Batten has agreed to help enhance our coverage of the Pack on the recruiting trail, and T Frank Carr, a contributor for the Penn State site Blue and White Illustrated and game grader for Pro Football Focus (PFF), has also signed on to help with in-depth film breakdowns of NC State football.

Justin H. Williams will also continue to be a contributor on podcasts and game coverage.

We will have more announcements coming in the near future of other planned additions and enhancements to the website!

A quick note: all of our social media handles, including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, remain the same. Be sure to follow or like us on those accounts to gain the full experience of The Wolfpacker.
