The first On300 for the 2024 class released on Monday, and there are loads of top Notre Dame targets on the list.

This article would be way too long if we included every player that made the cut, so instead, we’ll break down the more notable, top of the board targets for the Irish who are in the initial 2024 On300.

• Notre Dame has five quarterback offers out in the 2024 class, and all of them landed in the On300. Chandler (Ariz.) High’s Dylan Raiola is one of three On3 five-star prospects and checks in as the No. 1 overall player nationally. Saline (Mich.) High’s CJ Carr is the No. 35 recruit and No. 6 signal-caller, while Carlsbad (Calif.) High’s Julian Sayin is the No. 44 prospect and one spot behind Carr in the quarterback rankings.

The No. 62 player in the nation is Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day School’s Jadyn Davis, who is the No. 8 quarterback in the land. Miami Christopher Columbus’ Adrian Posse sits at No. 15 in the position rankings and No. 184 nationally.

• There are five notable targets for Notre Dame among the top-20 recruits nationally, starting at No. 4 in Pinson (Ala.) Clay-Chalkville’s Jaylen Mbakwe, the No. 1 “athlete” recruit nationally. Notre Dame is recruiting the elite prospect as a cornerback.

Checking in at No. 8 is Tucson (Ariz.) Salpointe Catholic’s Elijah Rushing, who is also the No. 2 EDGE in America. One spot behind him is Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy’s Ellis Robinson IV, the No. 3 cornerback prospect nationally. At No. 12 is another IMG Academy standout in Jonathan Echols, who is listed as an EDGE but is being recruited by the Irish as a tight end.

The No. 14 player in the land is West Roxbury (Mass.) Catholic Memorial’s Guerby Lambert, who is the top offensive tackle prospect nationally.

• There are a few notable linebacker targets for the Irish in the 2024 On300. Largo (Fla.) High’s Adarius Hayes is the No. 34 prospect in America and No. 2 overall linebacker. He is a name who Notre Dame fans need to get familiar with.

Jefferson (Ga.) High’s Sammy Brown sits at No. 54, Atlanta Woodward Academy’s Myles Graham comes in at No. 90 and Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco’s Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa is the No. 225 player nationally. Notre Dame offered Brown back in January, while the other three linebacker prospects earned the good news from the Irish on Pot of Gold day last Thursday.

• There are a half-dozen notable 2024 defensive back targets in the national rankings. The No. 5 safety in the land is Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco’s Peyton Woodyard, a longtime Irish target who is the No. 58 player per On3. The Irish are considered the leader for Woodyard according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) at 85.7 percent.

Lilburn (Ga.) Parkview’s Mike Matthews is listed as a wide receiver prospect, but the Irish are recruiting the No. 65 player in America as a safety.

Another couple notable safety targets who come from notable high schools are Irvington (N.J.) High’s Vaboue Toure, the No. 83 prospect nationally, and Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic’s Kaj Sanders, who checks in at No. 195. Notre Dame has 2023 safety Adon Shuler committed from Irvington, while the Irish signed quarterback Steve Angeli and defensive back Jayden Bellamy from Bergen Catholic in the 2022 cycle.

Hicksville (N.Y.) Holy Trinity Diocesan’s Josiah Brown is under the radar no longer. The four-star safety picked up a Notre Dame offer on Pot of Gold day — his fifth in total —and earned the spot of the No. 107 player nationally.

Nashville (Tenn.) Lipscomb Academy’s Kaleb Beasley, who will be visiting Notre Dame April 2, is the No. 201 player in the country.

• Notre Dame offered its first five tight ends of the 2024 class last Thursday — four of whom make the On300. We already covered Echols earlier in this article. Moultrie (Ga.) Charlotte Catholic’s Landen Thomas is the No. 2 tight end and No. 42 player nationally.

Rochester (Mich.) Adams’ Brady Prieskorn right behind Thomas in the position rankings and is the No. 61 prospect in America. Rome (Ga.) High’s Martavious Collins is the No. 273 overall prospect per On3.

• A handful of the prospects in this article were offered on Pot of Gold day and made the On300. Additional notable Notre Dame targets that made the cut are Malvern (Pa.) Prep offensive lineman Peter Jones at No. 228, Decatur (Texas) High running back Nathaniel Palmer at No. 231 and Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep running back Davion Gause at No. 236.

• Notre Dame double-legacy Emmett Mosley, an “athlete” prospect from Rancho Santa Margarita (Calif.) Santa Margarita Catholic, is the No. 261 player in America. The Fighting Irish are recruiting Mosley as a wide receiver.

Mosley’s father, Emmett IV, played running back and receiver at Notre Dame from 1993-96, and his mother, Cindy, was a top soccer player during the same time period. The midfielder won the 1996 Hermann Trophy, the award given to the top collegiate soccer player in the country, and scored a record-setting 61 goals for the blue and gold.
