COLUMBUS – Ohio State got a big win over Illinois on Saturday. Additionally, several Buckeye commits had strong performances on Friday night.

Quarterbacks
Four-star Mission Viejo (Calif.) quarterback Luke Fahey was off last week.
2027 Four-star Huntington Beach (Calif.) quarterback Brady Edmunds was 18 of 21 for 250 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-30 win over La Habra (Calif.).
Running backs
Four-star Delaware (Ohio) Hayes running back Favour Akih did not play against Dublin Scioto (Ohio). The Ohio State commit has been dealing with ankle injury since his season opener.
2028 Four-star Tampa (Fla.) Blake running back Elijah Hall had eight carries for 104 yards and one touchdown in a 57-0 win over Tampa (Fla.) Brandon.
Wide receivers
Five-star Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei wide receiver Chris Henry Jr. did not play against Rancho Santa Margarita (Calif.) Santa Margarita Catholic.
Four-star Inglewood (Calif) Mater Dei wide receiver Kayden Dixon-Wyatt had two receptions for 20 yards and one touchdown in a 7-6 loss to Rancho Santa Margarita (Calif.) Santa Margarita Catholic.
Four-star wide receiver Jaeden Ricketts and Pataskala (Ohio) Watkins Memorial beat Zanesville (Ohio) 69-10.
Four-star Fort Wayne (Ind.) Northrop wide receiver Jerquaden Guilford had three receptions for 88 yards and one touchdown in a 48-37 loss to Fort Wayne (Ind.) Carroll.
Four-star Southlake Carroll (Texas) wide receiver Brock Boyd had four receptions for 63 yards and one touchdowns in a 66-7 win over Eaton (Texas).
2027 Five-star Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne wide receiver Jamier Brown had five receptions for 76 yards and one touchdown in a 18-14 win over Miamisburg (Ohio).
Offensive line
Four-star offensive lineman Sam Greer and Akron (Ohio) Archbishop Hoban beat Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville 12-9.
Four-star interior offensive lineman Max Riley and Avon Lake (Ohio) lost to North Ridgeville (Ohio) 31-14.
Three-star offensive tackle Aaron Thomas and Phoenix (Ariz.) Mountain Pointe beat Gilbert (Ariz.) Campo Verde 22-17.

Four-star linebacker CJ Sanna and Lewis Center (Ohio) Olentangy beat Hilliard (Ohio) Davidson 17-11.
Cornerback
Four-star Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic cornerback Jordan Thomas had three total tackles and one fumble recovery in a 45-14 win over Paramus Catholic (N.J.).
Safeties
Four-star safety Blaine Bradford and Baton Rouge (La.) Catholic beat Baton Rouge (La.) Liberty Magnet High School 38-16.
Four-star Jacksonville (Fla.) The Bolles School safety Simeon Caldwell had five tackles and one tackle for loss in a 48-0 win over Jacksonville (Fla.) Andrew Jackson.
