COLUMBUS – Ohio State dominated Penn State on Saturday. Several Buckeye commits also had dominant performances on Friday night.

Each week during the season, Lettermen Row will report on how each Ohio State commit and their teams perform during the 2025 football season.

Quarterbacks

Four-star Mission Viejo (Calif.) quarterback Luke Fahey was 24 of 31 for 569 yards and five touchdowns in a 76-49 win over Los Alamitos (Calif.).

2027 Four-star Huntington Beach (Calif.) quarterback Brady Edmunds was 15 of 24 for 199 yards and two touchdowns in a 27-14 over Placentia (Calif.) El Dorado.

Running backs

2028 Four-star Tampa (Fla.) Blake running back Elijah Hall had an off week.

Wide receivers

Five-star Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei wide receiver Chris Henry Jr. had five receptions for 213 yards and two touchdowns in a 36-31 win over Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco.

Four-star Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei wide receiver Kayden Dixon-Wyatt had four receptions for 46 yards and three touchdowns in a 36-31 win over Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco.

Four-star Fort Wayne (Ind.) Northrop wide receiver Jerquaden Guilford had seven receptions for 133 yards and one touchdown in a 17-16 over Fort Wayne (Ind.) Snider.

Four-star Southlake Carroll (Texas) wide receiver Brock Boyd had four receptions for 40 yards and two touchdown in a 49-3 win over Kellar Central (Texas).

2027 Five-star Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne wide receiver Jamier Brown had six receptions for 60 yards in a 36-6 win over Galloway (Ohio) Westland.

Offensive line

Four-star offensive lineman Sam Greer and Akron (Ohio) Archbishop Hoban had an off week.

Three-star offensive lineman Tucker Smith and Phoenix (Ariz.) Sandra Day O’Conner lost to Peoria (Ariz.) Liberty 49-17.

Three-star offensive lineman Landry Brede and Mentor (Ohio) had an off week.

2027 four-star offensive lineman Kellen Wymer and Liberty Center (Ohio) had an off week.

2027 Three-star offensive lineman Mason Wilt and St. Clairsville (Ohio) beat Andover (Ohio) Pymatuning Valley 35-13.

Defensive line

Four-star defensive lineman Khary Wilder and Gardena (Calif.) Junipero Serra lost to Puente (Calif.) Bishop Amat 24-7.

Four-star defensive lineman Damari Simeon and Richland (N.J.) St. Augustine Prep lost to Absecon (N.J.) Holy Spirit 28-27.

Three-star defensive lineman Cameron Brickle and Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy beat Princeton (N.J.) Hun School 31-13.

Three-star defensive lineman Jamir Perez and Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville had an off week.

2028 four-star defensive lineman Jameer Whyce and Trotwood-Madison had an off week.

Linebackers

Four-star linebacker Cincere Johnson and Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville had an off week.

Four-star linebacker CJ Sanna and Lewis Center (Ohio) Olentangy had an off week.

Cornerback

Four-star Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic cornerback Jordan Thomas had three total tackles in a 40-0 win over West Orange (N.J.) Seton Hall Prep.

Safeties

Four-star safety Blaine Bradford and Baton Rouge (La.) Catholic beat Baton Rouge (La.) Woodlawn 47-7.

Four-star Jacksonville (Fla.) The Bolles School safety Simeon Caldwell had ten total tackles and one fumble receiver in a 31-7 win over Lake City (Fla.) Columbia

Three-star safety Khmari Bing and Baltimore (Md.) St. Frances Academy beat Springfield (Va.) The St. James Academy 35-0.

2027 three-star Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep athlete Angelo Smith had five total tackles in a 27-20 loss to Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas.

Season completed:

Four-star running back Favour Akih and Delaware (Ohio) Hayes finished the season 2-8. The Ohio State commit missed most of the year with a lingering ankle injury that he suffered in the season opener.

Four-star wide receiver Jaeden Ricketts and Pataskala (Ohio) Watkins Memorial finished the season 4-6.

Four-star interior offensive lineman Max Riley and Avon Lake (Ohio) finished the season 3-7.
