Commit Tracker: Multiple Ohio State WR pledges catch touchdowns, Brady Edmunds finds the end zone seven times

COLUMBUS – Before the Buckeyes dominated Grambling on Saturday, several Ohio State commits had standout performances on Friday night.

Each week during this high school football season, Lettermen Row will report on how each Ohio State commit and their teams perform during the 2025 football season.

Quarterbacks

Four-star Mission Viejo (Calif.) quarterback Luke Fahey was 21 for 31 for 323 yards and five touchdowns in a 53-14 win over Folsom (Calif.). Fahey also had 41 rushing yards on six attempts.

2027 Four-star Huntington Beach (Calif.) quarterback Brady Edmunds was 19 for 29 for 351 yards and five touchdowns in a 48-7 win over Anaheim (Calif.) Western. Edmunds also 17 rushing yards and two touchdowns on eight attempts.

Running backs

Four-star Delaware (Ohio) Hayes running back Favour Akih did not play against Mount Vernon (Ohio) after suffering an ankle injury in his season opener. The Ohio State commit is expected back soon.

2028 Four-star Tampa (Fla.) Blake running back Elijah Hall rushed for 74 yards on 10 attempts in a 28-7 loss to Ruskin (Fla.) Lennard.

Wide receivers

Five-star Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei wide receiver Chris Henry Jr. had four receptions for 24 yards in a 21-18 win over Kahuku (Hawaii).

Four-star Inglewood (Calif) Mater Dei wide receiver Kayden Dixon-Wyatt had three receptions for 25 yards in a 21-18 win over Kahuku (Hawaii).

Four-star wide receiver Jaeden Ricketts and Pataskala (Ohio) Watkins Memorial lost to Ashville (Ohio) Teays Valley 35-14.

Four-star Fort Wayne (Ind.) Northrop wide receiver Jerquaden Guilford had one reception for 37 yards in a 25-16 win over Fort Wayne (Ind.) North Side. Guilford also had 70 rushing yards and two touchdowns on five attempts.

Four-star Southlake Carroll (Texas) wide receiver Brock Boyd had five receptions for 70 yards and one touchdown in a 35-7 win over Carrollton (Texas) Hebron. Boyd also had one rushing attempt for five yards.

2027 Five-star Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne wide receiver Jamier Brown had 13 receptions for 138 yards and one touchdown in a 63-27 loss to Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward.

Tight end

Three-star Jacksonville (Fla.) The Bolles School tight end Corbyn Fordham had two receptions for 57 yards in a 40-35 loss to Saint Augustine (Fla.) St. Augustine.

Offensive line

Four-star offensive lineman Sam Greer and Akron (Ohio) Archbishop Hoban beat Detroit (Mich.) Martin Luther King Jr. 23-21.

Four-star interior offensive lineman Max Riley and Avon Lake (Ohio) lost to Medina (Ohio) Highland 34-7.

Three-star offensive tackle Aaron Thomas and Phoenix (Ariz.) Mountain Pointe beat Phoenix (Ariz.) Desert Vista 55-35.

Three-star offensive lineman Tucker Smith and Phoenix (Ariz.) Sandra Day O’Conner lost to Chandler (Ariz.) Hamilton 62-14.

Defensive line

Four-star defensive lineman Khary Wilder and Gardena (Calif.) Junipero Serra lost to Los Alamitos(Calif.) 42-21.

Four-star defensive lineman Damari Simeon and Richland (N.J.) St. Augustine Prep beat Haddonfield (N.J.) Paul VI  26-0.

Three-star defensive lineman Cameron Brickle and Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy had an off week.

Three-star defensive lineman Jamir Perez and Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville lost to Avon (Ohio) 28-16.

Linebackers

Four-star linebacker Cincere Johnson and Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville lost to Avon (Ohio) 28-16.

Four-star linebacker CJ Sanna and Lewis Center (Ohio) Olentangy lost to Olentangy (Ohio) Orange 42-14.

Cornerback

Four-star Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic athlete Jordan Thomas had eight total tackles and one tackle for loss in a 21-14 win over Boca Raton (Fla.) West Boca Raton.

Safeties

Four-star safety Blaine Bradford and Baton Rouge (La.) Catholic beat Destrehan (La.) 32-21 to open the season.

Four-star Jacksonville (Fla.) The Bolles School safety Simeon Caldwell had 11 total tackles, six solo tackles and one quarterback hurry in a 40-35 loss to Saint Augustine (Fla.) St. Augustine.
