COLUMBUS — Ohio State has had a productive offseason on the recruiting trail. The Buckeyes are up to 21 commitments in the 2026 class with five months until National Signing Day.

Rivals has released its initial 2026 Rivals300 following the merger with On3 earlier this month. The list includes double-digit Buckeye commitments and a few more targets.

Lettermen Row takes a few moments to look at the 15 members of the Ohio State 2026 class in the Rivals 300.

Sam Greer

Four-star Akron (Ohio) Archbishop Hoban offensive lineman Sam Greer is the highest-ranked Ohio State commitment in the initial 2026 Rivals 300. Rivals now ranks the 6-foot-7, 320-pound Greer as the No. 14 overall prospect following a dominant performance at the Rivals Five-Star Challenge.

Khary Wilder

The other Buckeye commit that dominated at the Rivals Five-Star Challenge is four-star Gardena (Calif.) Junipero Serra defensive lineman Khary Wilder. He slots in as No. 38 overall prospect in the initial 2026 Rivals 300. No other recruiting outlet has him ranked inside the top-100.

Blaine Bradford

Four-star Baton Rouge (La.) Catholic safety Blaine Bradford remains one of the highest-ranked safety prospects in the country. Bradford is the No. 46 overall prospect in the initial 2026 Rivals 300. The 6-foot-1, 195-pound Bradford chose the Buckeyes over hometown LSU in April.

Chris Henry Jr.

The fourth and final Ohio State commit in the top-50 is four-star Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei wide receiver Chris Henry Jr. He is the No. 50 in the initial 2026 Rivals 300. Henry missed the majority of his junior season with a lower-body injury so he slipped in the rankings while other players have ascended.

Cincere Johnson

Four-star Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville linebacker Cincere Johnson is just outside the top-50 in the initial 2026 Rivals 300. Johnson is the No. 51 overall prospect. Rivals continues to hold Johnson in higher regarded than the rest of the recruiting industry.

Damari Simeon

Another outlier for Rivals is four-star Egg Harbor Township (N.J.) St. Augustine Prep defensive lineman Damari Simeon. He is the No. 78 overall prospect in initial 2026 Rivals 300 while no other recruiting outlet has him inside the top-300 of their rankings.

Jakob Weatherspoon

Four-star Avon (Ohio) cornerback Jakob Weatherspoon is the first Ohio State commit outside the top-100 in the initial 2026 Rivals 300. Weatherspoon ranks as the No. 127 overall prospect. Rivals list Weatherspoon as a safety while the Buckeyes are recruiting as a cornerback.

Favour Akih

Four-star Delaware (Ohio) Hayes running back Favour Akih is the No. 162 overall prospect in the initial 2026 Rivals 300. Akih is another prospect that Rivals is somewhat higher on than the recruiting industry, particularly in the running back ranking.

Simeon Caldwell

Moving outside the top-200, four-star Jacksonville (Fla.) The Bolles School safety Simeon Caldwell is the No. 201 overall prospect in the initial 2026 Rivals 300. Caldwell is ranked as a safety but at 6-foot-1.5, 195-pound, he has the potential to develop into a linebacker in college.

Jordan Thomas

Four-star Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic athlete Jordan Thomas was the top cornerback target for Ohio State in the 2026 class. Thomas ranks as the No. 225 overall prospect in the initial 2026 Rivals 300. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Thomas is the ideal outside cornerback for the Buckeyes.

Jaeden Ricketts

Four-star Pataskala (Ohio) Watkins Memorial wide receiver Jaeden Ricketts is the second highest-ranked Ohio State wide receiver commit in the initial 2026 Rivals 300. The Central Ohio native is the No. 236 overall prospect in the 2026 class, according to Rivals.

Brock Boyd

A few spots later four-star Southlake Carroll (Texas) wide receiver Brock Boyd slots in as the No. 248 overall prospect in the initial 2026 Rivals 300. The Buckeyes flipped Brock from TCU this spring. He is a standout on the track with a 21.77 second personal-best in the 200-meter dash.

Kayden Dixon-Wyatt

The Buckeyes fourth wide receiver commitment in the 2026 class, four-star Inglewood (Calif) Mater Dei wide receiver Kayden Dixon-Wyatt, was also included in the initial 2026 Rivals 300. Dixon-Wyatt ranks as the No. 263 overall prospect.

CJ Sanna

Four-star Lewis Center (Ohio) Olentangy linebacker CJ Sanna is the final Ohio State commitment in the initial 2026 Rivals 300. The future Buckeye Backer is the No. 276 overall prospect. He was a top target for linebackers coach James Laurinaitis.
