Ohio State at Purdue: Kickoff time, TV channel, streaming revealed
COLUMBUS — Ohio State will return to Big Ten Network for the second time this season when it travels to Purdue next weekend.
The Buckeyes and Boilermakers are officially locked in for a 1 p.m. kickoff time on Nov. 8, the Big Ten and the television networks announced Monday afternoon.
Ohio State will be coming off a home matchup against Penn State, which is this weekend. Purdue, meanwhile, will play at No. 21 Michigan on Saturday evening this weekend before hosting the Buckeyes next weekend.
The Buckeyes are currently 7-0 and ranked No. 1 in the country heading into November. They haven’t been tested on the road yet this season, winning all three road games by double digits so far. Purdue is currently 2-6 overall and 0-5 in Big Ten play under first-year head coach Barry Odom. The Boilermakers recently lost to Rutgers at home a week after a shutout loss to Northwestern — also at home.
But Ohio State knows better than to overlook road games at Purdue; the Boilermakers have played spoiler in the past, upsetting the Buckeyes in Ross-Ade Stadium on multiple occasions.
