Ohio State tailback Sam Williams-Dixon withdraws from transfer portal

COLUMBUS — Just days after Ohio State beat Oregon in the Rose Bowl, freshman running back Sam Williams-Dixon informed the Buckeyes staff that he would be entering the transfer portal.
After more than a month in the portal, Williams-Dixon is returning to the program and withdrawing his name from the portal.
In his first season with the Buckeyes, Sam Williams-Dixon logged seven carries for 53 yards. Carries were hard to come by in a backfield that featured a pair of national stars in TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins. Both had great seasons for the Buckeyes and will be high NFL Draft picks this spring.
