COLUMBUS — It’s finally here: Ohio State is officially in the week of The Game.

The Buckeyes will battle Michigan inside the Horseshoe on Saturday, the first home rivalry game for Ohio State since 2018, since the 2020 edition of The Game was canceled due to the pandemic.

Ohio State and Michigan are both 11-0. They’re both top-four teams in the College Football Playoff standings. The Big Ten East title is on the line. So is a shot at a national championship.

The stakes couldn’t be higher, and Ohio State will open this week of the historic rivalry showdown as an eight-point home favorite, according to the folks at Circa Sport. This is the first time the Buckeyes have been a single-digit favorite this season.

The total has been set at 57.5.

After a year of trash talk and debating after Michigan finally beat the Buckeyes last season for the first time since 2011, it can all be put to rest.

It’s the week of The Game. Rivalry week. Ohio State is already gearing up to welcome the Wolverines into the Horseshoe — and it’ll be favored when it opens the gates.
