The Monday After: Taking closer look at Buckeyes season-opening win over Notre Dame
COLUMBUS — Ohio State didn’t always do it with finesse and plenty of points.
But the way the Buckeyes beat Notre Dame on Saturday night in the Horseshoe was just fine for coach Ryan Day.
“We just beat the No. 5 team in the country by 11 points,” Ohio State coach Ryan Day said. “And I couldn’t be any prouder of our team.”
