Defensive notebook: Making sense of Buckeyes early-game struggles

COLUMBUS — Ohio State was struggling on the defensive side of the ball midway through the first half Saturday night. The Buckeyes couldn't seem to slow down the Michigan State offense for a quarter and a half. And Lettermen Row members who were active on the Lettermen Lounge message board during the struggles were not thrilled with the Buckeyes performance -- and rightfully so.
