Photos: Confirmed visitors list for Ohio State's shutout win over Grambling

COLUMBUS – Ohio State only had about dozen or so recruits inside the Shoe on Saturday for its 70-0 win over Grambling. Still it was a big opportunity for the Buckeyes and they took full advantage of it with a dominant win over the Tigers.

A handful of Ohio State commits were attendance to watch their future teammates. Four-star Delaware (Ohio) Hayes running back Favour Akih and four-star Pataskala (Ohio) Watkins Memorial wide receiver Jaeden Ricketts were back in the Shoe for the second straight week. Four-star Akron (Ohio) Archbishop Hoban offensive lineman Sam Greer also made the trip down with a few of his high school teammates. Finally, 2027 Four-star Huntington Beach (Calif.) quarterback Brady Edmunds was in the building after throwing for five touchdowns in a big win on Thursday night.

As for targets, three-star Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep tight end JT Geraci was the only offered 2027 prospects on the expected visitors list. Geraci and his parents enjoyed their time inside the Shoe. Ohio State also offered 2027 Corbin (Kent.) defensive lineman Malachi Brown on Saturday which was his first trip to Columbus. The Buckeyes also got 2028 three-star Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco safety Brandon Nash back on campus for the second time this year.
The men’s basketball program also had 2028 three-star Cleveland (Ohio) Lutheran East point guard Dylan Zeigler on campus while the women’s program hosted four-star DeSoto (Texas) small forward Amari Byles for an official visit.
