Urban Meyer: Read the Ohio State coach's note as he fully returns to work
COLUMBUS — Urban Meyer is back in charge without any restrictions.
The Ohio State coach has been on the practice field now for the last two weeks, but he’s been away from the sideline on Saturdays for all of the first three games following his suspension for mismanagement of a troubled employee in former assistant Zach Smith. Meyer had also been absent for the duration of training camp in August during the investigation into how the Buckeyes handled the situation, though the program appears to have been able to function just fine without him so far.
The Buckeyes won’t have to do it any longer with Urban Meyer set to make his return to the Horseshoe on Saturday against Tulane. As he gets set for a full return, Meyer again issued a statement on his Twitter account on Monday morning making his feelings on the matter clear.
Before he’s scheduled to meet with the media, read the full statement below.
