COLUMBUS – The High school football season is nearing a close for many states across the country. All 21 of Ohio State’s commitments in 2026 class are having strong senior seasons. Additionally, the Buckeyes four commits in the 2027 and 2028 classes are also playing well.

Lettermen Row looks at the weekend slate for the future stars of Ohio State.

Quarterbacks

Four-star Mission Viejo (Calif.) quarterback Luke Fahey hosts San Clemente (Calif.) on Friday, Oct. 17.

2027 Four-star Huntington Beach (Calif.) quarterback Brady Edmunds hosts Santa Ana (Calif.) Foothill on Friday, Oct. 17.

Running backs

Four-star Delaware (Ohio) Hayes running back Favour Akih hosts Westland (Ohio) on Friday, Oct. 17. The Ohio State is not expected to play, however.

2028 Four-star Tampa (Fla.) Blake running back Elijah Hall hosts Tampa (Fla.) Hillsborough on Friday, Oct. 17.

Wide receivers

Five-star Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei wide receiver Chris Henry Jr. travels to Anaheim (Calif.) Servite on Saturday, Oct. 18.

Four-star Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei wide receiver Kayden Dixon-Wyatt travels to Anaheim (Calif.) Servite on Saturday, Oct. 18.

Four-star Pataskala (Ohio) Watkins Memorial wide receiver Jaeden Ricketts travels to Licking Heights (Ohio) on Friday, Oct. 17.

Four-star Fort Wayne (Ind.) Northrop wide receiver Jerquaden Guilford hosts Fort Wayne (Ind.) Wayne on Friday, Oct. 17.

Four-star Southlake Carroll (Texas) wide receiver Brock Boyd hosts Justin (Texas) Northwest on Friday, Oct. 17.

Three-star Phoenix (Ariz.) Mountain Pointe offensive tackle Aaron Thomas hosts Gilbert (Ariz.) on Friday, Oct. 17.

Three-star Phoenix (Ariz.) Sandra Day O’Conner offensive lineman Tucker Smith is off this week.
