SoonerScoop Sights & Sounds: A Bedlam sweep at Paycom Center
It truly felt like Bedlam at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City on Saturday afternoon. And it was a memorable one for the OU men and women, sweeping Oklahoma State.
Head coach Porter Moser and company needed that victory and found a way in the 85-76 win. In the process, giving OSU its initial loss of the season.
Moser was once 1-4 vs. OSU but is now 5-4, going 4-0 against the Bedlam rival in the last three seasons.
And if the teams can be as competitive as they were Saturday? Run it back. Forget the home and home. Let’s keep it at Paycom.
Experience it all with SoonerScoop video editor Eddie Radosevich with the Sights & Sounds from the Sooners coming out on top.

The Paycom Experience
Said guard Dayton Forsythe:
“I thought it was super impressive. I love playing here. Think it’s cool playing at Paycom and, I mean, obviously it would be cool playing home and home, but playing at Paycom is what we get to experience and I think it’s a super cool environment.”
Said guard Xzayvier Brown:
“Definitely it was crazy. A great rivalry. You could see it and you could feel it. It’s kind of different, me coming from a different state, coming from Philly where it’s five schools there in one city, but I think it was extremely cool just to see Oklahoma versus Oklahoma State. So it was very fun.”
Said guard Nijel Pack:
“Honestly, it was quite shocking. I kind of thought it would be better to play, you know, home-and-home, but for the crowd to come out like this and fill up an NBA arena, it was awesome. I was really happy to see the Sooner Nation show out and be loud and it was actually a really fun environment to play in.
“Honestly, you could see down the stretch, the crowd was getting really loud and really into it and this is kind of what you dream of as a kid, to play in environments like this. I’m really glad to be a part of this type of rivalry, man. This was really fun and I’m glad we were able to get the win.”
