Ole Miss averted disaster, and continued its end-of-season push for an NCAA Tournament bid, with a 79-76 win over Missouri on Saturday.

The Rebels (19-6, 6-6 SEC) snapped a three-game skid. They came into play projected by ESPN as the last of eight SEC teams (and an 11-seed) in the NCAA Tournament field of 68. Their next game is at in-state rival Mississippi State in three days.

Senior guard Matthew Murrell matched his season-high in points (26) and made threes (six). The included photos were provided by Ole Miss Athletics, as well as Bruce Newman, special to the Ole Miss Spirit.
