4-Star Center Eric Reibe Narrows Recruitment, Expected to Visit Oregon

The nation’s No. 38 recruit in the 2025 class, Potomac (Md.) The Bullis School center Eric Reibe has narrowed his recruitment to 11 schools, according to On3’s Joe Tipton.
Oregon made the cut along with a number of blue-blood programs in North Carolina, Kentucky, and Kansas. The 7-foot, 235-pound big man also included some top academic schools such as Harvard, and Stanford. The Maryland prep has already visited Creighton, Harvard, and Iowa, and is scheduled to visit Oregon on October 2.
As the name might suggest, Reibe is originally from Germany and recently played for the country’s national team in the U18 European Championship. Across the games Reibe played in, he averaged 3.7 points, 2.6 rebounds, 0.6 steals, and 0.3 blocks per game.

Reibe Talks Oregon interest
When speaking with On3’s Joe Tipton about his finalists, Reibe liked the offensive fit in Eugene.
“Coach Dana Altman has done a good job of telling me how he wants to use my skill-set,” he said. “I have good connections with Louis Rowe and Coach Mike Mennenga. I have developed a good connection with them and good relationships. They haven’t really had a player with my size or skill-set, so that is kind of new. But they run a five-out offense and they want to use me more as a four man to stretch the floor and in dribble hand-offs…”
Reibe is ranked the No. 38 recruit nationally, the No. 3 Center, and the No. 1 recruit in Maryland according to On3’s Industry Ranking. As for a commitment date, Reibe hasn’t set a deadline but he is expected to commit sooner rather than later.
