Oregon’s big recruiting weekend just got even bigger. Already the Ducks will be hosting some of the top talent from the 2024, 2025 and 2026 classes.

But another huge visitor has just been added.

On3’s Chad Simmons has confirmed Ohio State wide receiver commit Jeremiah McClellan will be at Oregon this weekend. It will be an unofficial visit as McClellan used his official visit back in June.

The 5-foot-11, 190-pounder committed to Ohio State over Oregon, Missouri and others on August 13. Of course those schools did not give up on their recruiting efforts.

“They’re still talking to me, and I’m still looking at them,” he told Simmons.

McClellan is the No. 83 ranked player in the On3 Industry Rankings. He is the No. 15 ranked wide receiver.

The four-star saw his stock rise in the updated On3 rankings a week ago based on his big senior season thus far.

“Jeremiah McClellan is a player that On3 had the benefit of seeing light the football field on fire during the summer,” On3 Scouting and Rankings assistant Cody Bellaire said this week. “McClellan was unstoppable during the OT7 7-on-7 Finals and has stacked some dominant film as a senior upon that summer performance. He continues to prove his versatility as an offensive weapon. McClellan can win in the slot with his twitch and change of direction and he can win on the outside with his route running and ability to push the field vertically. He’s also a menace with the football making defenders whiff tackles in open space and is a physical runner. McClellan is proving he can be a threat to defenses no matter where he lines up.”
