Jordan Burch Selected in Third Round of NFL Draft

The Ducks got things rolling in the 2025 NFL Draft on Thursday night with a pair of players going in the first round. Defensive tackle Derrick Harmon landed with the Steelers and offensive tackle Josh Conerly Jr. was selected by the Commanders.
On Friday, the Arizona Cardinals selected Oregon defensive end Jordan Burch with the 78th pick of the draft.
Burch spent two seasons with the Ducks (2023, 2024) after transferring from South Carolina, where he started his college football career. In the two years he spent in Eugene he became a central piece of Dan Lanning and Tosh Lupoi‘s defense.

Burch played in 24 total games at Oregon. In those games he recorded 65 total tackles, 11.5 sacks and 18.5 sacks for loss. The 6-foot-4, 279-pound lineman was originally a 5-star recruit from Columbia (SC) Hammond School.
Burch continues a long line of former Oregon defensive ends in the NFL. He joins former Duck Brandon Dorlus, who was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Burch joins Walter Nolen and Will Johnson in Arizona’s 2025 NFL draft class.
