On3 Expert Logs Oregon Prediction for 4-Star Bronny James

Dana Altman is absolutely setting the recruiting world on fire right now. And this latest prediction might just be his biggest.
Not in terms of star power or ranking, but the implications could be massive.
On Tuesday, On3 National Basketball Recruiting Analyst Jamie Shaw logged an Oregon prediction for four-star Bronny James. The 6-foot-3, 190-pound guard in the 2023 class is the son of current NBA star and future hall-of-famer Lebron James.
Bronny James is the nation’s No. 44 ranked player in the On3 Consensus Rankings. The Sierra Canyon (Ohio) native is considered a combo guard.
1. Oregon
Dana Altman has been on quite the roll on the recruiting trail recently. The Ducks picked up a pair of five-star recruits in the last month, Mookie Cook and Kwame Evans. They also got an early commitment from four-star Jackson Shelstad.
A look at the Oregon connection; there are many ties between the James family and Oregon. The connections mostly center around Nike. Oregon is the flagship school for the Nike brand. LeBron James and Nike have done business together with SpringHill Company. And LeBron signed a lifetime contract with Nike as an apparel brand.

Oregon’s chances: 50 percent
The other contenders in his recruitment are considered to be: USC, Ohio State, Michigan and UCLA. Per Shaw and Joe Tipton, UCLA and Michigan State are not actively recruiting James per sources.
James has not taken any visits at this time. Both Ohio State and Oregon appear set to get a visit from James as he continues through the process.
