BWI Blog: Penn State football Lasch Bash check-in
Penn State football is moving into its biggest event of the summer recruiting calendar. Set to host the Lasch Bash on Saturday afternoon on campus, the Nittany Lions will again work to create the familial atmosphere that has defined the program.
And, BWI publisher Sean Fitz is on hand at Beaver Stadium to capture the check-in for the event.
Coming after a Saturday mini-camp, the final one of the summer calendar for the Nittany Lions, the staff is hoping to avoid afternoon showers as it showcases the program. As previewed earlier this week at BWI, the program will welcome nearly all of its Class of 2024 commitments.
Now ranked No. 8 nationally in the On3 Industry Team Football Recruiting Rankings, that means some of the nation’s best prospects are on campus.

Class of 2025 four-star tight end Brady O’Hara has arrived. Listed at 6-foot-6, 241 pounds, he’s ranked No. 300 nationally for the cycle. Could he be the Nittany Lions’ next in the pipeline of top tight end talent?
Class of 2025 offensive line prospect Michael Carroll, a legacy Penn State prospect, has arrived to the Lasch Bash. At 6-foot-5, 300 pounds, Carroll remains an intriguing possibility for the Nittany Lions and coach Phil Trautwein.
