Penn State picked up another Class of 2024 commitment Saturday, adding Wyomissing prospect Caleb Brewer. A three-star player, Brewer projects best as an offensive guard, although Penn State does like his potential as a defensive lineman as well.

Whether he plays offense or defense down the road, things are looking good for the offensive front. The most recent development surrounds Wisconsin offensive lineman Donovan Harbour, who tweeted this evening that he’s ready to end his recruitment, announcing an April 18 commitment date. That comes just hours after he visited Penn State for the first time Saturday.

After checking in with sources, I’ve logged a pick for the Nittany Lions to land Harbour. I have a confidence score of 70 percent.

A four-star prospect, Harbour earned an offer from Penn State offensive line coach Phil Trautwein a year ago in April 2022. Trautwein and members of PSU’s recruiting staff had been steadily speaking with Catholic Memorial star in recent months, with Saturday being his first visit to Penn State.

“It was amazing. I loved the atmosphere,” Harbour said, when asked about the Blue-White Game. “I loved how they were having fun while competing with each other and also making each other better.”

Since picking up his first offer in Dec. 2021, Harbour has added more than 20 Power Five scholarship offers. The Waukesha, Wisc., native narrowed his list to seven schools back on Dec. 31. In addition to Penn State, Harbour included Florida, Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon, Tennessee and Wisconsin.

According to the On3 Industry Ranking, Harbour is ranked No. 165 nationally. He’s considered the 10th-ranked interior offensive lineman and the No. 1 player in Wisconsin for the Class of 2024.
