Penn State head coach James Franklin and his assistant coaches are back in State College following a busy weekend on the recruiting trail. With the bye week now complete, all attention turns to Michigan, as the Wolverines pulled out a win over Indiana Saturday in Bloomington.

With every other top 10 program getting a win on Saturday, there wasn’t any movement at the top of the Coaches Poll. Ohio State, who defeated Michigan State 49-20, remains the top-ranked team in the Big Ten at No. 3 overall. Michigan is right behind them at No. 4, with Penn State remaining at No. 10. Those are the only three Big Ten schools currently ranked.

However, that’s not the case in AP Top 25, as there was plenty of movement among media members this week. With Alabama playing a closer-than-expected game against Texas A&M, Georgia has once again claimed the top spot. In fact, Ohio State is now number two, with the Crimson Tide sitting third. Clemson also passed Michigan, as the Wolverines dropped one spot to No. 5. Penn State held firm at No. 10. There is a fourth Big Ten school in the AP Poll, too, as Illinois checks in at No. 24.

UCLA was the biggest mover in both polls this week, jumping seven spots in both polls following a 42-32 win over Utah. Mississippi State also made a big jump in the AP Poll, moving up seven spots to No. 16. James Madison, who’s playing at the Football Bowl Subdivision for the first time, also crack the AP Poll at No. 25. The Dukes at 5-0 playing in the Sun Belt Conference.
