Purdue defensive lineman Greg Hudgins is in the transfer portal. The redshirt sophomore from Washington, D.C., never carved a regular role for the Boilermakers in three seasons on campus. He’ll have up to three years of eligibility.

Hudgins appeared in two games in 2020. And he played in the final two of 2021. The 6-4, 285-pound Hudgins played in one game this season, making one tackle. He hadn’t been with the program since the Illinois game on Nov. 12.

A four-star recruit, Hudgins is the fourth scholarship player to enter the portal since the end of the season, joining G Spencer Holstege, RB Kobe Lewis and DB Rickey Smith.
