Purdue lands commitment from Vanderbilt DL Malik Langham
Purdue has augmented its defensive line with a commitment from Vanderbilt’s Malik Langham from the portal on Monday. The grad transfer, who visited West Lafayette over the weekend, has one season of eligibility.
Langham began his career in 2018 at Florida, where he played for one season. The Huntsville, Ala., native played the last four seasons for the Commodores.
He’ll join a Purdue defensive end group that includes Joe Anderson, Prince Boyd, Sulaiman Kpaka, J.P. Deeter, Joe Strickland and Isaiah Nichols.
The 6-5, 308-pound Langham played in all 12 games in 2022 and started eight but lost his starting job toward the end of the season. He finished last year with 13 tackles and 0.5 a tackle for loss.
