Purdue tabs Wake Forest's Alyse King to be football trainer

Purdue will hire Alyse King to be football athletic trainer, GoldandBlack.com has learned. She was associate head football athletic trainer at Wake Forest in 2022 in the sports medicine department. King will fill the role previously held by Ryan Collins, who had been Purdue’s football athletic trainer/associate director of sports medicine since 2017.

Prior to working for the Demon Deacons, King worked at North Carolina State on its sports medicine staff from 2014-22. The Clayton, Ohio, native was the associate head football athletic trainer for the Wolfpack.

The Eastern Kentucky grad was the assistant athletic trainer for football at South Alabama before working at N.C. State. King began her career as a G.A. at Ohio University.
