The leader of SMU’s famed “Pony Express,” Dickerson set nearly every school rushing record while launching the Mustangs into national prominence. The Sealy, Texas, native became the seventh SMU player to enter the College Football Hall of Fame.

Armstrong was a defensive lineman at SMU from 1978-1981, earning all-SWC recognition during his junior and senior seasons. Armstrong was a co-captain and a key player on a Mustang squad that went 10-1 SWC title (the program’s first in 16 years) and a nationally-recognized national championship in 1981. He was inducted into the SMU Hall of Fame in 2014.
