SMU EDGE Jayden Jones announced on Sunday his plans to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal with two years of eligibility remaining.

He played in 20 career games with the Mustangs, making 16 total tackles on the day. He had two tackles for loss, a forced fumble and two quarterback hurries. Jones redshirted in 2021.

He was unable to break through to start for SMU and battled injuries over the course of his career.
