How are things looking academically to get on campus in June… “I can’t wait to learn from one of the best schools in the state of Texas.”
What are you working on the most until you arrive at SMU… “I am working the most on being ready to come in and work and hopefully impress my coaches.”
Favorite prospect in the 2023 class… “I don’t really have a favorite because I feel like the 2023 class is one of the best recruiting classes in recent years.”
Closest friend in the 2023 class… “The closest friend is a tough one because the one I was close to decided to go to a different school, but hopefully me and my future roommate Kevin Allen will be good friends during the summer.”
On what you’ll remember from playing during your high school days… “I will remember some of my best friends and just having those late-night food runs after the game talking about the game.”
A recruiting story you will remember most… “During the official visit it was cool going against coach Ouri in Madden and him winning in the last minute off of a field goal.”
On being part of the 2023 SMU class… “Being a part of this recruiting class, it feels special because this class has the potential to do some crazy numbers for SMU while we play.”
Something that irked you about the recruiting process… “How some coaches would show crazy interest and immediately would just leave you to hang.”
Why SMU… “SMU has one of the best coaching staffs I have talked to and I feel like they will make me the best me.”
If not SMU… “If not SMU, probably would go to a school like SMU.”
Goals at SMU and beyond… “Be an all-conference selection and make it to the NFL.”
Favorite movie… Major League.
Favorite artist… Eminem.
Favorite celebrity… Keanu Reeves.
Favorite sport… “Football, but baseball is a close second.”
Favorite pro team… Houston Texans.
Favorite athlete… “JJ Watt because of what he represents and how a professional should be.”
