SMU at Boston College kickoff time, TV coverage revealed

The SMU Mustangs will take on Boston College on Nov. 8 at 11 a.m. CT on the ACC Network, the ACC announced on Monday. The past couple of meetings have been feisty between the two programs.
This week, the Mustangs take on Miami at 11 a.m. CT on ESPN. For Boston College, Bill O’Brien’s team takes on Notre Dame at 2:30 p.m. CT on ESPN.
For SMU, they’ve got to turn the page this week after a disappointing 13-12 loss at Wake Forest. Head coach Rhett Lashlee and his staff is going to lock in on finishing the right way.
“A lot of these games come down to the end. That’s what’s going to happen,” Lashlee said Saturday. “Obviously, we got the huge turnover, and I know you have to run it. You can’t risk throwing an incompletion there. We did everything other than get a 1st down right to 12 seconds and the one poor play we probably had the entire day, you know, and credit the kid. He got it through, and we gave him a chance to do that. There’s not much to say, guys. They beat us. They earned it. They beat us. I didn’t do a very good job, so it’s my fault and that’s not coach speak.”

Boston College is now 1-7 overall and 0-5 in ACC play following a 38-24 loss at Louisville. O’Brien is still proud of the fight his team has shown.
“Our kids are tough. I just told them that in the locker room you,” O’Brien said after the game. “They fight hard. You know, they fight. They got to keep fighting. There’s no choice. It’s been a rough season, but there’s a lot of football left, and these kids have a lot of pride, and they’re good BC guys, we got to coach better. Haven’t, haven’t done a good job coaching this year. So it’s on me to get it coached up better, but we have to do that so but I give our guys a lot of credit.”
SMU sits at 5-3 overall and 3-1 in the ACC, but hopes to get back on track against Miami before heading to Chestnut Hill to face Boston College next week.
