VIP tickets now available for 2023 Gamecock Central Kickoff Party at Steel Hands Brewing
A limited number of VIP tickets are now available to the general public for the third annual Gamecock Central Kickoff Party at Steel Hands Brewing which is set for Saturday, August 19.
For the second straight year, Gamecock Central and Steel Hands Brewing are thrilled to feature a charity element as the party will benefit The Beamer Family Foundation. Last year’s party allowed us to present a $5,000 check to the Hayden Hurst Family Foundation.

This year’s party will feature meet and greet activities for VIP ticket holders throughout the afternoon (starting at 1:00) with the on-stage portion of the event beginning around 4 p.m.
“I don’t know how we’re going to top last year’s epic party which featured another surprise appearance from Shane Beamer, an NBA Draft pick, multiple MLB Draft picks, and of course an amazing performance from Patrick Davis and the Midnight Choir — but we’re sure going to try!” Gamecock Central’s Wes Mitchell said. “There will be more drinks, more guests, and more fun in 2023 as we help kick off one of the most highly anticipated seasons in recent memory! We are thrilled to once again have current student-athletes be a part of the party thanks to Garnet Trust and to be able to donate to the Beamer Family Foundation! As always, we can’t wait to spend an evening with Gamecock Nation, the best fan base on earth!”
Like last year’s event, the on-stage portion of the party is free but VIP tickets will feature included food, drink vouchers, and an opportunity to hang out with some of our featured guests to soon be announced.
The event will feature live music from Camden native and University of South Carolina graduate Patrick Davis and His Midnight Choir plus appearances from former football players, Gamecock-related giveaways and maybe even a surprise guest appearance or two!
In 2022, Shane and Emily Beamer created The Beamer Family Foundation so they could improve the lives of children in the Richland County area by helping to provide educational and medical needs.
Being raised by educators themselves, they are all too aware of the challenges that teachers and students face when funding is short for educational resources and supplies.
