South Carolina Baseball was back on the diamond for their first scrimmage of the Fall on Thursday afternoon.

The Gamecocks went 6 innings and combined for 11 runs. The Black Squad defeated the Garnet Squad 7-4. It may only be the fall, but Ethan Petry continued to rake. Petry crushed a solo homer into the left field seats, and brought all the enthusiasm he could rounding the bases in the bottom of the fourth.

South Carolina will be back the diamond tomorrow at 3 p.m. for their next scrimmage.
