The Southeastern Conference revealed its Coaches’ All-SEC Teams on Tuesday, with six South Carolina Gamecocks making the cut.

Fifth-year punter Kai Kroeger, fifth-year EDGE Kyle Kennard and junior defensive back Nick Emmanwori all made the All-SEC First Team.

Kroeger averaged 47.6 yards per punt, the highest mark of his career. He punted 45 times for 2,143 yards with a season-best punt of 75 yards.

Kennard, fresh off winning the Bronko Nagurski Trophy on Monday, led the Gamecocks with 11.5 sacks and 16 tackles for loss this season. Both numbers led the SEC and were top 10 in the country.

Emmanwori led the team with 83 total tackles, 54 of which were solo. He also recorded four interceptions and returned two of them for touchdowns this season.

Senior running back Rocket Sanders was the lone Gamecock to make the All-SEC Second Team.

Sanders, a transfer from Arkansas, ran for 881 yards and 11 touchdowns. With the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl on deck later this month, he’s only 119 yards away from becoming the first 1,000-yard rusher at South Carolina since Kevin Harris in 2020. He was also third on the team in receiving with 27 catches for 316 yards and two touchdowns.

Redshirt freshman quarterback LaNorris Sellers and redshirt senior offensive lineman Torricelli Simpkins III each made the All-SEC Third Team to round out South Carolina’s representatives.

Sellers completed 64.9 percent of his passes for 2,274 yards and 17 touchdowns with seven interceptions. He also ran for 655 yards and seven touchdowns. He came in behind Ole Miss’ Jaxon Dart and Texas’ Quinn Ewers, who made the first and second team, respectively.

Simpkins, a transfer from North Carolina Central, spent his final season of college football with the Gamecocks, where he proved to be a key piece on the offensive line.

No. 15 South Carolina will play No. 20 Illinois in the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida on Tuesday, Dec. 31. Kickoff is at 3 p.m. on ABC.
