Garnet Trust, the official NIL collective of University of South Carolina athletics, announced on Monday that it has signed Jalon Kilgore to a name, image, and likeness (NIL) agreement.

That’s big news for South Carolina football, as it means one of its brightest young talents will be returning to the program.

The Putnam County (Georgia) native signed with South Carolina as part of the 2023 recruiting class and recently finished his freshman season.

During his debut campaign, Kilgore appeared in 12 games, starting in 11 of them. He tallied 76 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, one forced fumble, one interception and seven pass breakups.

Fellow Gamecocks Tonka Hemingway and T.J. Sanders have also publicly indicated that they will be returning for another year in the Garnet and Black.
