South Carolina freshman sensation MiLaysia Fulwiley is bringing the sauce on and off the court.

One day after the former Keenan standout took home SEC Tournament MVP honors, a local restaurant introduced a fresh new spin on its NIL deal with the Columbia native.

Mr. Seafood, a Columbia-based restaurant, announced that it will now carry a Fulwiley sauce, complete with her picture and signature on the bottle.

Fans can purchase the sauce at this direct link.

Mr. Seafood and Fulwiley, whose Instagram is @Laywitdabutter, had originally announced a partnership last month.

“Always wanted to do something with WBB, was just waiting for the right time, the right opportunity, and the right person,” Mr. Seafood owner Rasheed Scott told GamecockCentral. “She is from Columbia—-saw her IG name and was like … we’re both selling sauce! Let’s Go!”

Fittingly, the Fulwiley sauce is a spicy lemon pepper sauce in a garlic butter base.

“This “Spicy Lemon Pepper” garlic butter sauce is a zesty and flavourful combination of tangy lemon juice, aromatic garlic, rich butter alternative(vegan), and a kick of heat from bold spicy peppers,” reads the summary on the product site. “It’s a versatile sauce that pairs well with seafood, poultry, beef, pasta, or vegetables, creating a mouthwatering sauce or marinade!”

The pairing between Mr. Seafood and Fulwiley is an example of the type of partnership NIL was built for — a local, supertalented player whose star is only shining brighter by the day and a successful local business.

The 5-foot-10 freshman guard has been a revelation for the Gamecocks, combining her distinct flair and on-court personality with pure production. Fulwiley currently averages 11.8 points per game and has 72 assists and 52 steals this year despite coming off the bench.

From an NIL standpoint, Fulwiley also brings quite the social media following with over 152K followers on Instagram alone.

Combine that with the nearly 58K followers that Mr. Seafood has on Instagram and it’s easy to see why both sides would want to collaborate.

South Carolina fans have also likely seen the Mr. Seafood stand at Gamecock basketball games and the food truck at Williams-Brice Stadium.
