Before joining South Carolina, the Rockville Centre, N.Y. native spent two years with in-state rival Clemson, though he didn’t play as a freshman since he went on to redshirt. In 2024, he hit .264 with four homers and 24 RBI. He struck out 29 times and walked 13. He was also a perfect 11-for-11 on stolen base attempts.
Nawrocki becomes the 10th Gamecock to enter the transfer portal, which opened on Monday and will remain open through July 1 for all players to enter.
