South Carolina will officially be returning another one of its impact defensive players after Bam Martin-Scott signed a name, image, and likeness (NIL) deal with Garnet Trust.

Garnet Trust, the official NIL collective of University of South Carolina athletics, made the announcement via X, formerly known as Twitter, on Tuesday.

The Snider (Indiana) native signed with South Carolina as part of its 2021 transfer class. After not making a start until Oct. 11 this year, he burst onto the scene as an emerging star on the Gamecocks’ defense.

During the 2023 campaign, Martin-Scott appeared in 10 games, starting 3 of them. He tallied 38 tackles, four tackles for loss, two sacks and one pass defended. 28 of those tackles came in South Carolina’s final three contests of the season.
