After South Carolina running back Rahsul Faison accepted an invitation to the Panini Senior Bowl on Tuesday, another Gamecock is set to participate as well.

Defensive tackle Nick Barrett officially accepted his Senior Bowl invite on Wednesday afternoon, per an X post from the Senior Bowl.

Barrett and Faison are the two known South Carolina players who will head to Mobile, Alabama, for this all-star game. Defensive back Jalon Kilgore, who recently declared for the 2026 NFL Draft, also received an invite, but there’s been no official word as to whether or not he’ll go to the Senior Bowl.

Barrett returned to South Carolina for a fifth and final season this year after deciding to redshirt and preserve a year of eligibility in 2024. He recorded a career-high 42 tackles with two sacks and one fumble recovery for a touchdown, which came against Texas A&M on Nov. 15.

Barrett finishes his college career with 72 total tackles, two sacks, three pass breakups, and one interception. He’ll be one of three starters on the defensive line that the Gamecocks will be replacing next season, including EDGE Bryan Thomas Jr. and Monkell Goodwine on the interior.

The Senior Bowl will take place on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026, at Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile. Kickoff will be at 2:30 p.m. on the NFL Network.
