Who knows how things will end this season for South Carolina when it’s all said and done. But one thing is for certain. Aliyah’s Boston fourth quarter performance was one for the ages, scoring all 13 of USC’s points along with 9 rebounds, to help the Gamecocks advance to their sixth Elite Eight in program history.

“Just dominance on my mind,” explained Boston, who finished with 28 points and 22 rebounds. “Just crashing the boards, we talked about that. Making sure once they take expected shots we’re just gonna crash the boards.”

With the win, Boston was able to extend her consecutive double-double streak to 27 games. None of which came as a surprise to her teammates.

“Us coming together and telling her, ‘we need you to be dominate; when you get the ball go score,'” said Victaria Saxton, of Boston’s fourth quarter performance. “I really love watching that and being a part of it and just seeing her do what she do.”

South Carolina will play the winner of tonight’s Iowa-Creighton game on Sunday. As of this story’s publication, tip-off time is TBD.
