A couple of months after competing in the prestigious McDonald’s All-American Game, South Carolina women’s basketball signee Milaysia Fulwiley was showing off her impressive skillset in the OverTime Elite WBB Takeover 5s game over the weekend in Atlanta.

So impressive was the performance of the guard from Keenan that a mixtape of her best plays was featured on the OT Elite Twitter account, which you can check out below.

The game features less than traditional scoring, as one can see in the video, with 4-pointers and even 6-pointer spots on the court — but no matter how you count it, it was a strong showing for the Columbia native.

Fulwiley scored 24 points in the exhibition on 9-for-16 shooting including hitting 4-for-8 from 3-point land while adding five rebounds and three assists.

In the McDonald’s game, Fulwiley came off the bench to score 17 points on 7-for-18 shooting.

The class of 2023 signee has been on the national radar for years and is widely considered one of the best players in state of South Carolina history, right up there with guard Ivory Latta, the state’s all-time leading scorer.

Fulwiley is currently the 13th-ranked player in the 2023 class, according to ESPN, but was once ranked as high as second. She has been a star player at Keenan High in Columbia since she was in seventh grade. At that time she earned offers from South Carolina and Ole Miss on the same day.

Fulwiley had been one of South Carolina’s priorities for this class ever since. Dawn Staley has regularly attended Fulwiley’s games for years, and it seemed like she was destined to be a Gamecock.

Fulwiley committed to South Carolina in November and will look to make an immediate impact on a Gamecock team that replaces all of the “freshies.”

Fulwiley picked South Carolina over Ole Miss, Miami, Florida, and Louisville. She also took visits to Ole Miss, Louisville, and Florida, who she said was her runner-up. On the day she left for Oxford, Staley stopped by Keenan to remind her how much she was wanted. Fulwiley took an unofficial visit to South Carolina in June and an official visit in November.
