— He let assistant coach Tanner Bronson do the halftime speech today. Jokes that he should probably should let him start doing the pregame speech.
— Couldn’t get it together in the first half. ECU is good defensively. They create some problems. SC made a change in what they were doing offensively at halftime. Defense was the difference in the second half holding ECU to two points during the big stretch run. Happy to get into finals with a win.
— They wanted to get the ball inside in the second half. They knew they were getting the ball inside. It was a little more regimented. The spacing was a little different. That’s how they wanted to attack the ECU defense.

— In the second half, that big stretch run was so good that he wasn’t going to change until he had to do so. Stuck with what worked for as long as he could with less personnel changes.

— CMB was making strong moves to the basket. He was finding guys in some advantageous situations. He’s been working on pivoting towards the basket and getting on balance and then making a strong gmove through some contact. He’s still growing and it’s exciting to see his growth. He’s got phenomenal natural touch. A lot of his success was quality of shots and guys making good passes to him.
