2023 Harrisburg (N.C) Hickory Ridge four-star wide receiver Christian Hamilton is set to make an official visit to Texas A&M this weekend, he tells On3’s Mike Singer.

The visit will be Hamilton’s second visit to Texas A&M in less than a year, and his first of five official visits he plans to use. The Aggies’ offensive scheme and the mold of what Fisher and Craig are looking for at the wide receiver position has Texas A&M standing out to the junior.

The four-star is looking forward to spending time and getting to know the coaches and players in College Station more in-depth. He primarily commubicates with wide receivers coach Dameyune Craig and Jimbo Fisher.

“They’re real good people,” he told Singer. “I feel like I can learn a lot from Coach Craig as well.”

After his Texas A&M visit, Hamilton will make his way to South Carolina, another SEC school heavily involved in his recruitment.

Outside of the Gamecocks and Aggies, Penn State, North Carolina, Florida and Clemson are among the schools heavily involved. Notre Dame and Georgia are among two other schools still in the mix. The four-star is in no rush to make a decision, and won’t shut down his recruitment anytime soon, as he is looking to announce his commitment in the fall, on Oct. 24, his birthday.

The Aggies have a chance to make a massive impression, with Hamilton in town with a loaded group of 2023 and 2024 recruits expected in College Station for the Maroon & White Game. Texas A&M doesn’t currently hold a wide receiver commitment in the 2023 class, and hold just three total commits to date in the cycle.

During the 2021 season, the 5-foot-11, 167-pound Hamilton reeled in 49 receptions for 916 yards and 12 touchdowns, averaging 18.7 yards per catch.

Hamilton ranks as the No. 166 prospect and No. 29 wide receiver nationally in the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He has an NIL Valuation of $17.4K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
