Inside presence was far from the only problem with last year’s team, however – another major issue was lack of a true point guard. Julian Larry led the team with a paltry 2.2 assists per contest as the team relied heavily on a bonafide NBA lottery guard in Tre Johnson to pick up the slack. Some of these issues will be remedied based upon the merit of Sean Miller’s pro-style offensive system, which pushes off-ball movement, rapid screening, and creation of shooting opportunities off of the ball. Still, there are holes to be filled.
