2025 4-Star RB Byron Louis names USC in Top 10

Another top ranked skill player in the class of 2025 has named the USC Trojans in a top group. This time it was Fort Lauderdale (FL) American Heritage four-star running back Byron Louis releasing a top ten list.
Louis ranks as the No. 208 player in the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 18 running back and the No. 29 player in the state of Florida.
The 6-foot, 205 pounder is down to the following: Ohio State, Miami, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, USC, Florida State, Oklahoma, Penn State, and Wisconsin.
Louis has visited USC one time to date, coming this past June. He has taken 17 total visits with multiple going to Miami, Georgia, and UCF.
Last year, Louis had a limited but impactful role in his offense. In 12 games, he had only 55 carries, but finished with 439 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns. He averaged only 36 yards per game, but 8.0 yards per carry.
This season, as a junior, Louis has 27 carries in two games for 177 yards and two touchdowns.

Louis broke down what stands out about each of his top schools with On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
USC – “The best team in the west coast and RBU.”
Ohio State – “I love the coaching staff. Everyone in the town has a winning mentality, and the fans are loyal and you can’t go wrong.”
Miami – “It’s home! They are bringing the old Miami back and it’s coming sooner than later.”
Georgia – “It’s the best team in college football hands down. They have proven and shown why they are the big dogs.”
