Commitment Preview: 2024 RB Bryan Jackson

2024 McKinney (Texas) three-star running back Bryan Jackson is scheduled to announce his commitment in just a few hours at a ceremony between 8 PM CT (6 PM PDT). He is set to choose from a top five of USC, Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Baylor.

Jackson is the No. 560 overall prospect and No. 47 running back in the 2024 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 94 player in Texas.

In his junior season, Jackson, 6-foot-2, 230 pounds, carried the ball 265 times for 1,647 yards and 23 touchdowns. He averaged 6.2 yards per rush and 126.7 yards per game. Jackson eclipsed 100 yards rushing in nine of his 13 games.

According to his Hudl profile, the 230 pound Jackson boasts a 4.6 second forty yard dash, 4.4 second shuffle, a 300-pound bench press, and just shy of a 500-pound squat.

Landing Jackson would add to Lincoln Riley and the USC Trojans success in Texas, especially at the running back position. USC landed four-stars Quinten Joyner and A’Marion Peterson in the 2023 cycle.

Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM)

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, USC has a commanding lead thanks to the three On3 predictions. The Trojans currently sit at 94.0% odds to land the Texan.

Jackson has visited USC four separate times, most recently coming April 8. He is also scheduled to be back June 17 for an official visit.

On3 NIL Valuation

Jackson has an On3 NIL Valuation of $25K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

USC’s 2024 class

To date, USC only holds one commitment in the 2024 class, which is Lake Oswego (Ore.) Lakeridge four-star tight end Joey Olsen. The 6-foot-5, 220 pound Olsen has been committed to USC since September 22, 2022. He is currently ranked as the No. 172 overall prospect in the 2024 class. He is the No. 14 tight end and No. 1 prospect in the state of Oregon.
