2025 Port Charlotte (Fla.) top-100 defensive lineman Myron Charles trimmed his recruitment down today.

The 6-foot-5, 260-pounder is down to the following: USC, Florida State, LSU, Alabama, Miami, Tennessee, Michigan, Colorado, Penn State, Oregon, Ohio State, and Oklahoma.

Charles ranks as the No. 115 player in the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 13 defensive lineman and the No. 19 player in the state of Florida.

On3 ranks him higher than the industry, as he tabs in as the No. 67 player nationally, the No. 8 defensive lineman, and the No. 10 player in Florida.

The Trojans offered Charles back in August.

On3 RPM on Charles

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Florida has the early lead to land a commitment from Charles at 46.5%.

RPM was released to the public in December 2021. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

He currently does not have an On3 NIL Valuation publicly listed. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Another class of 2025 prospect, four-star safety Anquon Fegans, dropped a top group on Tuesday.

A former USC commit, Fegans has named a top group of USC, Alabama, Georgia, Oregon, Clemson, Michigan, LSU, Tennessee, Florida State, Auburn, Ole Miss and Texas A&M.

Fegans is the No. 34 overall prospect and No. 3 safety in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 4 player in Alabama.

This season, Fegans has made 53 tackles, four tackles for loss, defended seven passes and grabbed seven interceptions.

Fegans originally committed to the Trojans in May, which made him the lone commit in the Trojans 2025 class. Nearly four months later he would re-open his recruitment. But as can be seen now, the Trojans were still involved in his recruitment.
