Earlier this week, USC defensive lineman Tuli Tuipulotu underwent testing at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis. On Friday and Saturday, it was Jordan Addison and Mekhi Blackmon‘s turn.

Over the past two days, USC’s top wide receiver and cornerback ran the 40-yard dash at the combine. Addison clocked in with a 4.55 as his unofficial time, while Blackmon ran a 4.47.

Addison is expected to go in the first round of April’s NFL Draft, while Blackmon is a likely Day 3 selection.

Addison and Blackmon’s USC Careers

Despite each spending just one season at USC, both Addison and Blackmon made a profound impact during their time in the Cardinal and Gold.

After arriving as a relatively unheralded graduate transfer from Colorado, Blackmon quickly emerged as USC’s top cornerback this past fall. He finished the 2022 season with 13 passes defended and three interceptions, earning first-team All-Pac-12 honors.

Addison, on the other hand, arrived at USC with much fanfare after winning the 2021 Biletnikoff Award at Pitt. He also earned first-team All-Pac-12 honors in his lone season with the Trojans, catching 59 passes for 875 yards and eight touchdowns.
