Kickoff times set for USC football's first three games of 2025

The kickoff times and television networks have been set for the first three USC Trojan football games of the 2025 season.
The home opener in the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum against Missouri State on August 30 will kick off at 4:30 pm PT and air on Big Ten Network. This will be the first time these two programs face each other and it will be the first-ever game for the Bears as an FBS program. Missouri State is making the move to Conference USA for the 2025-26 athletic season.
USC’s second game of the 2025 season will see a familiar face back in the Coliseum. Georgia Southern, led by former Trojan head coach Clay Helton, comes to Los Angeles on September 6. The Trojans and Eagles will kick off at 4:30 pm PT in a game that will air on FS1. This is another game between two programs that have never faced each other previously.

The Trojans take to the road for the first time the following week. That September 13 game at Purdue will kick off at 12:30 pm PT (3:30 pm local time) in West Lafayette. That game will air on CBS. The Trojans and Boilermakers last played in 1998, which ended in a 27-17 win for USC. This will be just the second meeting ever between the two teams at Purdue. The first game ended in a 31-13 win for head coach John Robinson and his Trojans back in 1976. The Trojans are 3-1 against the Boilermakers all time with Purdue’s win coming in the 1967 Rose Bowl.
The fourth, and only other, game locked in on USC’s schedule is the October 18 contest at Notre Dame. The Trojans and Fighting Irish will kick at 4:30 pm PT (7:30 pm local time) in another night game in South Bend.
